How to obtain Land?
The Bulgarian law still forbids foreign citizens to gain ownership over a piece of land. If you like to buy though, you need to be registered as a local(Bulgarian) Ltd. company, whereas you can obtain legal rights to do so.
How long does it take and what procedures are necessary to register a firm?
The procedure is relatively fast and easy and takes about 3 weeks.
1. Registering Ltd.: each partner is responsible only to the extent of their share in the total capital.
2. Paying local and national taxes round 500 EUR and preparation of the necessary documentation for registration of the Ltd in the Court.

What are the prices for land?
The prices vary accordingly, on the Black Sea coast over 200 EUR/m², in the villages 5-50 EUR/m². On the internet real estate market you can find numerous web sites, which offer land, where you can compare and decide which region best suits your needs.

Do we need a visa to travel to Bulgaria and how long can we stay?
UK passport holders do not require a visa in order to visit Bulgaria for a period of 30 days. Long-term visa can be obtained from the Bulgarian Consular service in London. What are the living costs in Bulgaria?
To live in Bulgaria is easy. The monthly costs for home maintenance are less then 100 EUR during the summer and 200 EUR in the winter. The food is cheap and delicious - you pay less then 10 EUR for full dinner table. The distances are short, there is not traffic and reaching any destination is easy. The average wage in Bulgaria is about 200 EUR.
